Giving

Support for Green energy alternatives happens in many ways. Government grants for non-profit initiatives related to Green energy, at both the state and federal level, allow for greater affordability for people who want to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. Often, however, current grants don't match up with the demand that's out there! The market is shifting to greener solutions, but policies must go through much more to affect change. That's where the community comes in.

Eco Power relies on support from the community through donations, volunteers, and policy advocates. All donations are tax-deductible under our 501(c)(3) status, including in-kind donations of equipment we use to install sustainability systems. Volunteers help us in all positions of our organization, and we have gathered a group of dedicated individuals entirely through volunteer effort that drive us toward our collective goal of energy independence. Finally, we all support going Green by being policy advocates. In our actions and in our words, we advocate policy change that benefits the community and renewable energy alternatives. With our voices heard, subsidies and grants can better serve community efforts to switch to a sustainable lifestyle, bringing down the cost for everyone.
